Cambria was the lone Jane who went to downtown Los Angeles to run the Firecracker 5k and 10k this past Sunday. She came in third place in the 5k and first in the 10k which was run immediately following the finish of the 5k. Vivian Wadeck finished in first in the 5k running 17:13.8. Cambria was right behind the second place girl, Liliana Hernandez, who ran 18:06.3. Cambria ran 18:11.0 over the hilly course. Cambria ran 39:50.0 in the 10k.

Tania, Adrienne, Kirsten, Jenna and Sissel competed at yesterday’s Brea 8k. Tania kicked some rear finishing second behind Natalie Higley. Adrienne (8th woman), Kirsten (9th woman), Jenna (29th woman) and then Sissel followed in that order.The Brea 8k was part of the USATF Southern California race series so the race was a competitive one over a hilly course. Interestingly enough, the woman’s masters division was the most difficult age group of the whole race with four masters in the top ten women finishers.
