Ingrid runs a LA and other Janes news

Ingrid Walters ran 26.2 miles in the cold and wind at the Los Angeles Marathon today and she PR’d! By almost 10 minutes! With a few Janes picking her up at different spots of the course to pace her, she was able to run 3:07.34. With the three hour barrier, Ingrid is eager to break that.

Janes run well at Brea 8k

Ingrid, Sarah and Amanda at the Redondo Super Bowl 10k

The Janes showed up to run at the Brea 8K and turned in some
impressive results over the non-traditional road race distance.  Erika
(1st place, 28:25), Tania (3rd, 29:16), Cambria (6th, 30:10), Samantha
(10th, 31:11) and Ingrid (32nd, 33:17) put on a show of force that
should solidify The Janes’ standing as the team to beat in the 2012
SCUSATF Road Running Grand Prix.  The weather was perfect for racing,
and the organizers claimed to have tweaked the course from last year
to flatten it and boost times.  Erika didn’t quite agree with the
claim that the course was designed for speed, but showed her
appreciation for the northern Orange County town by giving it all for
the overall win.
