Earned seven NCAA titles at Cal State L.A. and was named the Billy Jean King Woman of the Year in 1987

1987, 2nd place in the Los Angeles Marathon
1988-2004 Competed in all Five Olympic Trials in the 5,000m 10,000m and the Marathon
2001-2002 World Championships in Half Marathon 1st American
2003 World Championships Marathon in Paris, France
2001-2002 World Half Marathon Championships Fastest American Time
2007 Hall of Fame Inductee for the University of Cal State Los Angeles
2007 Ranked #1 Woman Masters Runner
