A trio of 5k PR’s for the Janes at Screenland 5k! Led by Ingrid, who placed second overall in 18:16, fellow marathoners Cristina and Gwendolen also earned personal-bests in the second annual Screeenland 5k in Culver City. It was a successful outing for the team, who took places 2nd, 4th, 5th–8th and took the top honors for Master’s runners 1-3. Our top 3 went out quickly on a fun course, full of U-turns and a quick run through the studio backlots of Culver City. Rachel, Tania and Cambria followed close behind with less than a minute separating all 6 teammates. The Janes celebrated post-race in downtown Culver City with several teammates and friends!
Look for more spring victories in the weeks to come, with the Los Angeles Marathon, Newport Beach Spirit Run and Carlsbad quickly approaching, with other teammates heading into track meets throughout Southern California!
