Cambria Wu won the Conquer the Bridge 5.3 mile race in San Pedro this Labor Day morning. She ran a 32.37 time beating the second place woman by almost two minutes as well as breaking her own course record she set back in 2009 (34:55 was the previous record). The course starts on one side of the Vincent Thomas Bridge and competitors have to go over the bridge, down the other side and then back up and down the bridge to finish on the start side of the bridge.
Cambria is on fire this pre-season coming off of a 5:01 mile finish at the Southern California USATF Mile Road Championships a few weeks ago.
