The 6th annual Conquer the Bridge 5.3 mile race in San Pedro is an arduous race where you are either climbing up or screaming down the Vincent Thomas Bridge. It is a 5.3 mile course where you start the climb up the bridge immediately into the race. Kelle and Kimmy went out and ran well in this Labor Day race. Kelle was 2nd in a time of 36.58 and Kimmy was 7th in a time of 38.52. Alison Kielty, former West Torrance HS and Arizona State distance star, won the race in a time of 33:26.
