Tania Fischer traveled out to Des Moines, Iowa to compete in a master’s 800 meter race at the infamous Drake Relays this past weekend. Tania finished in 4th in a time of 2:31.52. Alisa Harvey won the race in a time of 2:17.78. Every year, the USATF masters association arranges to hold exhibition masters races in established meets across the nation. This year, one of the opportunities was at the Drake Relays. Mark Cleary, the USATF masters coordinator arranged the meeting of these elite masters athletes who continue to excel well into their 40’s and beyond. Tania continues to impress as a national level masters runner.
