The Janes raced the USATF Southern California Cross Country Championships at Will Rogers State Park this past Sunday. In the masters division, Tania won 8km race in a tough battle with and always tough Grace Padilla who finished only three seconds behind Tania. Her win secured first place in the SoCal XC Grand Prix series, for the 40-49 year old age group. Kelle finished in fifth place which secured her spot as winner of the SoCal XC Grand Prix series for the 50-59 year old age group.
In the open race, Lily took fifth in 31:20, with Rachel and Cambria coming in close behind finishing 7th and 8th, each running 32:30.
Congratulations Janes on a great SoCal series race! Next up is USATF Pacific Association Western Regionals at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco on Sunday, November 24th.
