Tania Fischer and Christine Gentile were a part of masters’ history on July 3, 2016. Both Janes qualified in the top 12 in the US to land a spot toeing the line for the Masters Olympic Trials 1500m at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon in front of 22,243 spectators. Tania raced into 10th in 4:56.87 and Christine was 11th in 4:57.79. The Women’s field was the deepest Masters 1500m in history.
