The Janes competed in the third race of the Southern California cross country series this past Saturday at Kenneth Hahn Park in Los Angeles. Tania Fischer won in a time of 22:15 with Kirsten Leetch running second in 22:32 over the muddy and wet six kilometer course. Jenna Dee was third overall in a time of 23:47 and Cambria Wu was fifth overall in a time of 24:00. Friday night there was significant rain causing the course to be very wet, marshy and slippery throughout most of the grassy and rolling course. It was a good prep for the upcoming cross country races that the Janes will be facing.
Next up for the Janes is the Elysian Park XC Series race on Saturday, November 6th or at the USATF Southern California Regionals at Central Park in Huntington Beach on Saturday, November 13th.
