The Janes brought three teams to compete at the USATF Club Cross Country Championships in Spokane, WA. Despite sub freezing temperatures, the So Cal ladies delivered hot performances. In the Masters race, Kirsten Leetch and Tania Fischer delivered a 1-2 punch in the W50 division with teammates Shannon Teslow, Kathleen Cushing-Murray and Mary Lynch finishing next to take the title with a perfect score of 6. The Janes also took home the W40 division team title! With Nancy James-Klinger (5th) and Grace Padilla (7th) leading the way, Cambria Wu, Gwendolyn Twist and Christine Gentile followed to help clinch the championship title. In the open race Julia Budniak, Calene Morris, Kayla Ferron, Emily Bernath and Katie Penney finished in fifteenth out of 32 scoring teams. From the dominating wins of the Masters teams, to the burgeoning talent of the Open women, The Janes had an amazing day capping off a compelling season.
