Liz ran in yesterday’s Nike Women’s Half Marathon in San Francisco where she ran an impressive 7:05 per mile pace to complete the half in 1:32:54 for 15th place and second in her age group. Liz had the honor of pacing with her friend Olympian Joan Benoit-Samuelson (pictured right with Annie Kawasaki from Portland, OR who ran 1:34:41 who was also in the pace group). The first woman was Carrie Dimoff from Beaverton, OR who ran 1:25:22.
The half marathon was run in conjunction with the Nike Women’s Marathon which was won in a time of 2:59:53 run by Caitlin Smith of Oakland, CA.
