Adrienne Schumm competed this past weekend at the Occidental Invitational at Occidental College in the 5000. She finished 11th in a personal best time of 17:31.31. Unattached runner, Daniella Alonso, won the race in a time of 16:31.17. “It went good.” said Adrienne, “I’m happy that I PR’d by six seconds. I wanted to run under 17:30 but a PR is a PR so I’ll take it. I plan on running the Jim Bush meet on June 6th in the 5000 meters so I look forward to breaking 17:30 there.” Good job on the PR, Adrienne!
