Every year, the USATF ranks the top runners in their age group. These rankings are national and are based on race results throughout the 2014 year. Tania took home the high honor of coming in first in her age group and was lauded the 2014 Intermediate Masters Long Distance Runner of the Year for ages 45-49. Kirsten came in second. It’s unusual to see two teammates in a national ranking so close together like that.
