The Janes traveled to San Francisco this past Sunday to compete in the USATF Pacific Association Championships at Golden Gate Park. It was a rainy, muddy and all around rugged and wet four mile race but the Janes ran to second place in the team division. Emily Field was the first Jane coming in second place overall running 23:48. Tania Fischer was the second Jane (14th, 24:36) followed by Kirsten Leetch (18th, 24:48), Sarah Montez (23rd, 24:59), Adrienne Schumm (34th, 24:47), Cambria Wu (37th, 25:54), Sissel Berntsen-Heber (49th, 26:26), Emily Mitchell (51st, 26:28), Jenna Dee (61st, 26:49), Amanda Rondash (65th, 26:57) and Kelle Taylor (85th, 27:50).
The New Balance Silicon Valley team were overall winners both team-wise and individually with Stephanie Pancoast beating out our own Emily Field by four seconds.
