The Janes ran solid at the Santa Monica 5000 where the competition was fierce. Olympian Jen Rhines of Mammoth Lakes set the tone by running 16:00 for first woman. The Janes ran together helping each other out, placing 5th -10th, starting with Tania, Adrienne, Kirsten, Sarah and Jenna all running within 30 seconds of each other. Amanda Rondash ran in the 10k finishing in 40:01 as the first masters woman.
The Janes are gearing up for their cross country season and getting a preseason 5km under their belts. It was a great team effort! Next race will be another local 5km , Kicking Cancer 5km next Sunday.
