The team of Erika Aklufi, Tania Fischer, Adrienne Schumm, Cambria Wu and Jenna Dee went in last Saturday and won the USATF Southern California Club Regional meet. And, although there were no other teams entered, the Janes dominated going first (Erika, 21:36), second (Tania, 21:51), fourth (Adrienne, 23:21), fifth (Cambria, 23:31) and sixth (Jenna, 25:07) over the 6,000 meter course.
The Janes also won the Masters race for the first time with a team of Kirsten Leetch (1st, 21:39), Sissel Bernsten-Heber (2nd, 23:34) and Amanda Rondash (4th, 23:51).
This race was also the culmination of the inaugural the Southern California USATF Cross Country Grand Prix Series. The Janes also dominated there with Tania winning the Open division and Kirsten winning the Masters division.
