The Janes will be racing next week at the Santa Monica 5000 on Sunday, October 7th. This is a part of the Janes’ official racing schedule as well as part of the Southern California USATF road racing grand prix series. There will be a 5000 meter race as well as a 10,000 meter race. The 5k will start at 7:30 with the 10k following at 8am. The race will start at Ocean Park and will finish on Ocean Avenue at the Santa Monica Pier. The 5k is a a fairly fast, flat race with expected fast times.The Janes will be competing with many other elite athletes in the Elite West Coast Invitational which will be part of both races.
Also enjoy a great post party on the pier where you can also meet up with the Janes who will have their signature pink tent set up. Come and race!
